Description

This evergreen conifer slowly reaches 50' tall and 30-40' wide. It has a conical habit with slightly drooping branches. Needles are glossy and dark green which emit a tangerine fragrance when crushed. Foliage can be used for potpourri. This tree can be grown in sun or part shade; it does best in fertile, moist, slightly acidic, well draining soil. However, this conifer can adapt to various soil conditions. This Oregon native does well in the Pacific Northwest as it enjoys moist, cool locations. Often grown on Christmas tree farms.
