Description

This evergreen conifer shrub reaches 5-15' tall and 3-6' wide. It has a spreading habit that is densely branched. Tiny leaves are actually dark green needles that have a fine texture, creating a green background with mature plants. Small fruit contain seeds that are poisonous. It does best in full sun with well-draining with moist, fertile, sandy soil. Mature plants tolerate complete shade. Can be pruned as a topiary or sheared to create a screen.
