Description

Tanacetum parthenium can grow 9"-2' tall, depending on the variety. Leaves are deeply cut and bright green in color. Flowers bloom in summer and fall; they resemble daisies, with yellow centers. They make a nice dried flower for potpourri. This perennial can grow in most kinds of soil but it needs to be well-drained. It can be grown in windy areas but does not tolerate salt air. It looks great in rock gardens with full sun. It will not grow in shade.
