This broadleaf evergreen shrub can slowly reach 1-12' tall and 2-6' wide. It has a dense oval habit in full sun but a sprawling open habit in shade. Foliage is glossy, dark green and small. Tiny, greenish-white flowers bloom in summer. Pinkish-red fruit appear in late summer or early fall. It tolerates full sun but needs good air circulation. Mature plants tolerate complete shade.
