Description
This plant is a terrific weed smotherer offering almost evergreen foliage that has an aromatic perfume of peppermint. The foliage color changes in the fall to shades of red. happy in any soil whether dry, in sun or shade. This ground cover can reach 1.5' tall and spread quickly to about 3'. It does well with morning sun and afternoon shade or complete shade. Small white flowers on vertical stems appear above foliage from spring through summer. It does best in fertile, moist, well draining soil but will tolerate clay and sand. Established plants need little water and care. Prune or cut back in winter.
