Description

The Noble Fir is an evergreen conifer that reaches 20-50' tall and 10-20' wide. Young trees have a conical habit, changing to a narrow look. Evergreen foliage has soft gray-green needles. Bark has resin blisters on young trees. Often grown for Christmas trees. This tree does well in full sun with moist, well-draining soil. It thrives in higher elevations and may be difficult to grow in lower areas. Prune to retain central leader by removing crossing branches.
