Jasminum nudiflorum
Winter Jasmine
Description
Jasminum nudiflorum is a broadleaf deciduous shrub that grows 2-3' tall and 3-5' wide. It has a broad sprawling habit with trailing branches which may root if in contact with soil. Foliage is tiny and green, actually considered leaflets. Small bright yellow flowers appear in late winter and early spring, before leaves appear, on green stems. This plant tolerates full to part sun with well-draining soil. Less flowering with less sun. Established plants grow in poor soils.
