This evergreen shrub reaches 1-2' tall and wide. It has a mounding habit that is densely covered with foliage and thin flowering stalks above foliage. Leaves are narrow, gray-green and aromatic. During summer, vertical unbranched stalks carry short spikes of fragrant purple flowers, attracting bees. This shrub does best in full sun with well-draining, neutral to alkaline soil. Very attractive plant. Manu cultivars available.
