Rosemary is an herbaceous evergreen shrub that reaches 2-4' tall and wide. This broadleaf shrub has narrow, linear, dark green, aromatic leaves, which can be used for cooking. Small, light blue flowers cover the plant from winter through spring. This plant does well in full sun and is easy to grow. Established plants are drought tolerant. This shrub does well in coastal areas. Tip-prune to increase density, if desired. Plant trimmings can be dried for bouquets or crafts. Many cultivars now available.

The Blue Oat Grass is an evergreen, blue clumping grass that grows 12"-18" tall and wide. Its showy flowers are 1'-2' above the foliage. This plant looks good alone as well as in mass plantings. The blue oat grass likes dry hill sides and is drought tolerant. This plant is fire prone. Please use caution when planting near your home.

This clumping perennial will grow less than 1' tall and has narrow, blue green leaves. Clusters of lavender flowers bloom in spring and summer. Leaves and flowers have a distinct onion or garlic smell if crushed.
