Common name:Torrey Pine
Botanical name:Pinus torreyana

This broad evergreen can reach a height of 80' if it grows straight. Better growth results from life on the coast, from which the sea winds promote a broad, open, irregular habit. While tolerant of both heat and drought, the tree does better with moisture and slight exposure to fog. This plant is fire-prone! Please use caution when planting near your home.

These summer-blooming perennials form clumps with large, grass-like leaves. Its showy flowers, resembling lilies, are borne in clusters on stems held well above the foliage. Daylilies can be found in many colors: yellow, orange, red, purple, pink or multi-colored. Hemerocallis does better in well-draining soil and with extra summer water. Hemerocallis are very hardy,with few or none pests/problems.

Skyrocket Juniper has blue green foliage on vertically growing branches that create a spire-like form. It is suitable for planting where space is limited or where a large blue exclamation point is needed! It needs full sunlight. Junipers are highly combustible plants. This plant is fire-prone! Please use caution when planting near your home.

Common name:Tall Moor Witch Grass
Botanical name:Molinia caerulea 'Moorehexe'

Molinia caerulea 'Moorehexe' is a perennial grass. Plants live long but grow slow. Leaves are light green, narrow, in neat dense clumps 1-2 ft. tall and wide. In summer, yellowish to purplish flowers in narrow, spikelike clusters rise 2-3 ft. above clumps. This plant is fire prone. Please use caution when planting near your home.
