Botanical name:Thymus X citriodora

Thymus X citriodora reaches 18" tall and has pale lavender flowers in the summer. Plant along paths so that this herb will release a lemon fragrance when brushed. This perennial does well in sunny, dry locations. Leaves are dark green.

New Zealand Flax is a large, bold plant with stiffly vertical, sword-like, green leaves that arise from its base. It should be grown under full sun for best color. Varieties will offer different growth habits and leaf color.

This perennial groundcover stays 2-3" tall and has small, glossy bright green leaves. It turns bronzy-red in areas with colder winters. It works well between stepping stones, on mounds and around rocks. It will take occasional foot traffic.
