Common name:Prairie Sage

The PItcher sage is grown as an evergren or deciduous perennial to a size of 3-4' tall, exhibiting somewhat narrow growth. Its long leaves are narrow and dark green, with a faintly greyish tone. Terminal clusters of deep blue flowers, with a slightly
dusty cast, appear from summer through late fall. Although sometimes not reliable perennial, it is a fast grower that is quite showy. For proper growth, it should receive sun to part shade, with average to little summer watering. -Monterey Bay Nursery
