The large, light lavender blue flowers of this Bellflower are produced along trailing stems throughout the year. It is a fast, easy grower in areas of sun to partial shade. -Monterey Bay Nursery

This perennial will grow to about 6' tall and has large green, grass-like leaves with red, orange, and yellow tubular flowers that bloom in summer. Flowers resemble tiki torches. Hummingbirds love the flowers.

This plant is a low-spreading, evergreen shrub that reaches 6"-1' tall and 3' wide. Foliage is small, oval and green. During spring and summer, saucer-shaped flowers appear on the shrub. It prefers full sun with moist, well-draining soil. This shrub hugs the ground. Tip-shear after bloom period. Great for dry rocky areas and for small areas that need a ground cover. Cultivars have different flower colors.

Abelia X grandiflora is a semi-evergreen shrub of medium size. It has small, white, fragrant flowers that bloom from spring through the fall season. Bracts add a bronzy tint to the flowers. Abelia makes a good sheared hedge or screen. When unsheared, it is naturally arching.
